PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE & NEWSLETTER

Dear Peach State 1116 Chapter Members and Guests,

I am excited to welcome you to our next chapter meeting on Wednesday, March 12th, at Maggiano’s at Perimeter Mall (off Ashford Dunwoody). This will be an important gathering as we discuss the upcoming AORN national elections. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate, we will set aside time during dinner for members to cast their votes.

We are also looking forward to our trip to Boston for the AORN Global Conference & Expo in April! As we prepare, we are seeking volunteers to serve as delegates at the conference. This is a fantastic opportunity to represent our chapter, contribute to important discussions, and help shape the future of perioperative nursing. If you’re interested, please complete the willingness-to-serve form attached to this newsletter.

Additionally, we want to inform everyone that all chapter information, meetings, chats, and correspondences will now be available through the Nursing Network website for AORN chapters. This platform will serve as our primary hub for updates and communication, so be sure to check in regularly to stay informed.
