Message from the President

Happy New Year, Peach State 1116!

As we welcome a new year, I hope each of you feels renewed, inspired, and ready for the opportunities ahead. January represents new beginnings, a time to reflect on where we’ve been, celebrate our growth, and set intentional goals for where we’re going next.

As perioperative nurses and leaders, the start of a new year is the perfect moment to recommit ourselves to excellence:

• Strengthening teamwork in the OR
• Continuing professional development and lifelong learning
• Leading with purpose, compassion, and integrity
• Supporting one another as we navigate change and growth

Whether your goals this year involve advancing your career, stepping into leadership, mentoring others, or simply finding better balance, remember that small, consistent actions lead to meaningful impact.

I’m excited to kick off the year together at our next chapter meeting on January 14th at Maggiano’s at Perimeter Mall. This will be a great opportunity to reconnect, share ideas, and set the tone for a successful year ahead.
